5 Summits

by Azlan

Last weekend, Andy and myself spent about 2 hours training in Bukit Timah. We made it a point to start training weekly here, as I was preparing for Translantau 50km (in March), at the same time, training Andy to avoid the same mistakes I made for the coming Sabah Adventure Challenge (in April).

With an altitude of 163.63m, it’s probably the closest thing Singaporeans have in preparing for overseas trail races. It’s hills and slopes are still a challenge for mid-packers like myself. This clip is from the training session, where we made 5 runs to the summit, each time changing the route in order to add variety mileage. Of course, a little bit of fun thrown in for added measure.
